These are not genuinely happy faces, but it was the best we could muster under the circumstances. |
Moving really stinks. Especially when your best friend is being dragged off, kicking and screaming, to an abyss called Wyoming. Michelle had been dreading this day for months, and we'd all been pretending it wouldn't really happen, but it did. The best thing a friend can do in this circumstance is to pitch in and help, so that's what we did.

Myndee Wells and Michelle packed up the master closet. |

Michelle kept out a shelf of essentials that she might need in case of emergency. Good choices! |

Farhana Hibbert lovingly packed the same fruit she helped bottle. |

Priscilla Hensley graciously took the responsibility of cleaning the bathrooms. |

Susan Bloxham scrubbed with abandon. |
The highlight of the day was when Janice Green came all the way from Boise to help Michelle move. Michelle had held it together pretty well all day, but this surprise was too much. I'm pretty sure we all cried at least a little, but Michelle's tears were the only ones documented by the camera, thank goodness!
Yep, moving stinks. But friends are priceless, and friendships don't have to end just because someone moves. Thank goodness for the telephone!
