Valentine Mania

Why have I never realized how fun Valentine's Day is?  Del and I have always been complete duds when it comes to V-Day, but this year I found so many fun ideas on Pinterest and had a few great ideas of my own and before I knew it.....I was bitten by the bug!  Now there are Valentine things everywhere!

First I made this cute letter to go in the vintage Mercedes typewriter Aunt Rhea and Uncle Dave bought in Germany and gave me.  I spent a long time getting the heart shape just right and then my kids told me there is a shape tool in Word that would have made it in minutes.  Hmmmm.  Oh, well. I guess now I can make a shamrock for St. Patrick's Day.

I made these fun treats for Del and did the 14 Days of Valentine's Day.  Each day was a fun surprise!

I found these great printable tags online and just bought the treats to match.

I couldn't leave the kiddos out, so here are some fun treats they got on V-Day.  It was lots of fun to surprise everyone and let them know I love them.  I guess next year will be Del's turn to be fun and creative, but I've set the standard pretty high!  Not sure if he can do it.  We'll see.....
